Our newest addition to the JHG boutique wine collection is the Pinot Noir. The very first attempt at making this wine we won the trophy for best Pinot Noir in the Robertson Wine Valley at the Young Wine Awards.

Jan Harmsgat Farm, or JHG, is situated on the most southern tip of the Robertson Wine valley along the foothills of the Langeberg Mountains.
Our unique position borders with the dry conditions of the Karoo as well as the cool sea breezes from the Coastal Regions. Therefore, the direction of our vineyard planting runs from East to West.
My goal in starting a wine collective is to hand pick a unique, fun variety of wines from all over the world. To entice people to step out of the norm and be open to experiencing varietals and bottles that you may never have heard of, never knowing what you were missing!
