The tradition of vineyard cultivation in Fuentelcésped dates from 1177, the time of the repopulation of the Ribera del Duero by the Christians. Familia Díaz Bayo Winery vineyards were planted in the valley of the Nava stream, ideal for cultivation due to its sunny slopes, its abundant loose soil and pebbles. After the land consolidation of the term Fuentelcésped, the grape strains that produced the best grapes were selected and with them new vineyard plantations were made, where the Díaz Bayo family has dedicated, for more than ten generations to the cultivation of the vineyard and the elaboration of wine in the Ribera del Duero
Winemaker's Notes
Intense aromas of black fruit with balsamic and mineral notes, cocoa and coffee. Luscious with a rich and fleshy texture.
