100% Chardonnay Lucien Lardy vinifies each plot separately, in order to create complex and generous wines that display the characteristics of its terroir. Farming is strictly sustainable, promoting utmost respect for the environment & biodiversity.
Lucien Lardy was born into a family of three siblings, yet he was the only one who chose to work in the family business of winemaking. From a young age he worked the vineyards and learned to make wines from the family holdings in Fleurie, Morgon, Moulin-à-Vent, and Beaujolais-Villages. His wines are concentrated yet rustic, with impressive Grand Cru holdings. Many other producers charge two to three times the amount for wines of the same, or lesser, quality.
