Our Name
Our name, SALDO, comes from the Italian word for “I join or I weld” and was chosen to reflect our winemaking approach to welding together our wines from grapes from the best vineyards across the world.
SALDO winemakers are meticulous in their craft, joining and welding together wines that aim to stay off the beaten track and open people’s minds to what fine wine can really be.
Expected delicacy and softness in the mouthfeel are balanced by just enough acidity to refresh the palate and leave you wanting more.
